Campus Sports Facilities and Their Use;
The use of our sports fields in the South Campus is by reservation system, and the sports fields in our North Campus are open for use without reservation. For South Campus sports fields usage requests, you can make your reservation by going to the Sports Office located on South Campus.
All our students, academics and administrative staff can use our sports fields free of charge. Ball and vest materials used in sports facilities are provided by SKS.
North Campus:
2 Open Mixed Fields (Basketball and Volleyball)
South Campus: 1 Miniature Football Field, 2 Open Mixed Fields (Basketball and Volleyball), 1 Basketball single hoop field
*Consuming food and beverages is prohibited inside sports facilities.
Medipol University Sports Facilities Usage Instructions
1) Our university astroturf field; It is suitable for 14 players to play a match, 7 players from each team. It is not charged for individual use.
2) Facility usage hours are within the framework of the hours determined by the Sports Unit.
3) Our AstroTurf Field; It is open to the use of Medipol University students, academic and administrative staff and is allocated by reservation.
4) Our users who want to play a match must apply to the relevant personnel at least 2 (two) days in advance. Applications for Monday matches must be made by 15:00 on Friday at the latest.
5) Each reservation is for one-hour use, cancellations must be notified to the responsible person 1 (one) day in advance.
6) Teams must wait at least 15 minutes from the time they will play. should be ready in advance. Participants are advised not to bring valuables with them, no responsibility is accepted in case of theft or loss on the field.
7) It is mandatory to wear clothes and shoes suitable for sports on the astroturf field. If it is not suitable, the field officer has the right to warn the person and remove him from the field.
8) The equipment (ball, vest) given to the teams to use during the match is given in exchange for an ID card and taken back at the end of the match.
9) Consuming food and beverages other than "water" and smoking are prohibited in the field.
10) After the match, each team is kindly requested to collect their garbage to ensure the cleaning of the field.
11) Losses that occur in the facility are the responsibility of the end-using teams. If the materials are damaged, the fee for the damaged material will be collected from the damaged teams.
12) Until 17.00, the priority demands of faculties and sports teams are taken into account (such as training, team work, lessons and training).
13) Persons who are determined to be not students or staff are reported to security and a report is kept in case of a possible incident.
14) Our facility staff are authorized to request the user to present his/her identity when necessary. If the person does not present his ID, he cannot use the facility.
15) In case of abusive language or fighting behavior while playing a match on the astroturf field, the users will be warned by the attendant. If warnings are not taken into account, security is informed and a report is kept in case of inappropriate situations.
16) Lockers in dressing rooms are for daily use. Users must empty these lockers when leaving the facility.
17) For hygiene and security reasons, all items should be placed in the locker and no items should be left outside the locker.
18) For security reasons, valuable items should not be kept in cabinets.
19) Our Sports Unit cannot be held responsible for lost or forgotten items.
**A report will be kept and disciplinary regulations will be applied to teams or individuals who do not comply with the above-mentioned rules.
**The Department of Health, Culture and Sports has the right to make changes regarding artificial turf and all sports facilities if deemed necessary.
