Social Sciences are a group of academic disciplines that systematically produce scientific knowledge by examining human beings and society, as well as the relationships between individuals and their interactions with society. As the key to understanding both individuals and society, social sciences form the foundation for self-awareness, interpreting the past, understanding the present, and shaping the future. In the transitions from agrarian society to industrial society and then to the information society, transformations in the field of social sciences have preceded technological leaps. For this reason, a unique understanding of social sciences is of vital importance for our society. Moving beyond being merely practitioners to becoming producers and shapers is only possible in this way.

Our university, which has a dynamic structure that continuously renews and improves itself while focusing on the needs of society, has made its breakthrough in the field of social sciences in line with these ideas. Accordingly, our Vocational School of Social Sciences was established in 2015. At our Vocational School, our primary goal is to educate qualified human resources who can be easily employed in both the private and public sectors by providing education in parallel with sectoral developments. Our ultimate aim is to make a name for ourselves successfully in the field of social sciences through our graduates, to contribute to the welfare of society through our social responsibility activities, and to instill in our students the rightful pride of being a member of Medipol.
