School of Law

Considering the continuous development of our country, its growing population, and its increasingly active role in global trade and the international arena, it is evident that the role of law and legal professionals will correspondingly expand and assume a leading position in safeguarding Türkiye’s interests.
In the contemporary understanding of law, maintaining a balance between legitimacy and legality, rights and obligations, freedom and responsibility, as well as the right of individuals and society to live in freedom and peace, holds a central place. Our fundamental principle is to adopt a modern approach that defines the legal professional as “an individual who plays a role in the implementation of legal norms regulating the relationships between citizens and the state, and between institutions and individuals, within the framework of mutual rights and obligations.”
The Faculty of Law at Istanbul Medipol University provides education with the aim of training and graduating students in line with this vision, ensuring that they embrace this perspective from the very beginning of their academic journey.
Located at the Kavacık Campus, our Faculty offers students a productive university experience with its lecture halls, spacious facilities, and social amenities. Having commenced education in the 2011–2012 academic year, the Faculty of Law graduated its first cohort in the 2014–2015 academic year. We firmly believe that our first graduates, each equipped as competent legal professionals, will represent our Faculty in the best possible way across all areas of the legal field.
