Protez Ortez Merkezi (POMER), İstanbul Kalkınma Ajansı (İSTKA)’nın 2015 yılı Sağlık Turizm Merkezi İstanbul Mali Destek Programı kapsamında Sağlık Turizminde Protez ve Ortez Alanında Altyapı Oluşturulması ve Hizmet Çeşitliliğinin Sağlanması projesi ile desteklenmiş olup 2016 Kasım ayında aktif hale gelmiştir. POMER sahip olduğu modern makine ekipman ve yaklaşık 400 m²’lik bir alan ile Türkiye’de en ileri teknolojiye sahip ortez protez merkezlerinden biri olmuştur.
