Istanbul Medipol University provides comprehensive guidance and psychological counseling services to support the academic, social, and emotional development of its students. These services include both individual and group counseling options, aiming to enhance personal growth and social adaptation. All counseling processes are carried out within the framework of confidentiality, trust, voluntariness, equality, and acceptance, and are completely free of charge.
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling offers professional support for students to better understand themselves, comprehend their behaviors, and increase their personal awareness. For students who face challenges in coping with life's difficulties, this service provides guidance in producing solutions and making decisions. Through individual counseling, students find opportunities to strengthen both their academic performance and social relationships. The psychologist helps students increase their self-awareness while also assisting them in taking responsibility and facing their life challenges. This way, students not only solve their current problems but also prepare themselves for future difficulties.
Psychoeducation and Workshop Programs
As the university's Counseling and Guidance (PDR) unit, we organize psychoeducation and workshop programs to support our students' academic and personal development. Our psychoeducation programs aim to provide knowledge and skills on topics such as stress management, time planning, and exam anxiety, while our interactive workshops help students discover themselves, develop their social skills, and enhance their academic success through group activities and practical techniques. These programs aim to support the mental well-being of our student community, fostering individual awareness and social solidarity. Information emails and posters about our events, which are open to all, are sent to students.
