Today traditional communication methods fall short due to the newborn medias in advertising, public relations, interaction channels.

Constant interaction of traditional media and technology increases the significance of visual communication design as an emerging practice which can solve the design related issues between the product and the target group.

Visual communication designers are capable of analyzing the perceptive, cognitive and physical needs of users with an interdisciplinary approach to generate efficient solutions concerning visual communication issues by using new technologies.

Our aim at the Department of Visual Communication Design is to educate designers who understand and address communication issues in order to combine practical information with theoretical knowledge to generate creative solutions.
