Significant support from the TÜBİTAK to our students

TÜBİTAK Science Fellowships and Grant Programmes (BİDEB) announced the results of the applications that were submitted to the "2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program" 2023/1 semester. The following 40 projects by Istanbul Medipol University were entitled to be supported by TÜBİTAK: 15 projects from the School of Health Sciences, 6 from the College of Health Sciences, 5 from the School of Engineering and Natural Sciences, 4 from the International School of Medicine, 3 from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, 2 from the School of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, and 1 from the School of Medicine. Istanbul Medipol University achieved significant success with a project support rate of 65 percent, and it was in the top 5 among the foundation universities regarding the number of applications and support.

Congratulating the students and advisors for their success, Istanbul Medipol University President Ömer Ceran stated that it is important that the success achieved continues to increase. Emphasizing the importance of support for the continued success, Ceran added: “We are encouraging our students to play an active role in scientific research projects throughout their education. Medipol makes a significant effort to spread the culture of scientific research and development. We prepare the ground for students to turn their ideas into projects. We increase their awareness with the seminars, trainings, and announcements. We will continue to support the ideas of our students with the help of our academic staff. I congratulate our students, especially our faculty members who support and advise our students for their applications, and I wish them continued success."
