| Aim | The aim of the course is to understand and analyze the characteristic features of rural landscape; To discuss the principles of rural landscape design. On the other hand, understanding the transformation process of the rural landscape on the urban fringes, which is constantly changing and transforming dynamically under the influence of rapid urbanization, is to seek an answer to the question of how this transformation can occur in the healthiest way for both urban and rural areas. |

Week General definitions of urban and rural areas / Examination of urban growth & rural transformation concepts,5. | The aim is to understand the transformation process of the rural landscape on the urban fringes, which is constantly changing and transforming dynamically under the influence of rapid urbanization today, and to seek an answer to the question of how this transformation can occur in the healthiest way for both urban and rural areas. While metropolises grow and continue to transform under the influence of the political, sociological and economic situations they are in, how can they develop the rural settlements and rural lands on their periphery without transforming them and contribute to their economic sustainability? |
