Aim | The aim of this course is to give students the basic principles and stages of script writing; The aim of this course is to give information about the scenario, place and importance of scenario writing in cinema narrative and to make a story which they determine in the light of this information. |
Course Content | This course contains; General presentation of the course, Scenario concept, parts of script,Scenario writer features, scenario usage areas, Stages in script writing: basic story, printing, stage draft, scenario, shooting scenario.,Story and narration, the forms of narration,Editing story items. Time, space and character relations.,Types and characters; analysis of character and conflict concepts on examples.,Character and function. Main character, side character. Methods of processing characters in scenario. Selecting, Screening, Complexity, Simplicity. Character analysis through movies,Use of time and space. The stage, the structure of the scene, the functions of the scenes, the connections between the scenes, writing the outline of the scene, creating the skeleton of the film.,Speech structure (dialogue) and other sounds in the scenario.,Time use in scenario. The continuity of the present time becomes the past, the flashbacks, the continuity of the past tense, the continuity of the future.,Evaluation of the scenarios written by the students.,script writing and examples,Project Presentation,Project Presentation. |
