AimThe aim of this course is to introduce the opinions of main psychoanalytic theoreticians and general essentials of psychodynamic practice; to endorse its basic principles, intake interview, therapy frame and boundaries, developmental levels and defense mechanisms.

Winnicott,Psychology of Self : Heinz Kohut,- Interpersonal Psychoanalysis : Harry Stack Sullivan. - Contemporary Interpersonal Psychoanalysis,- Contemporary Freudian Revisionists : Kernberg. - Controversies in Theory and Techniques,Developmental Levels (psychotic, borderline, nevrotic),Overview of personality organizations , Overview of personality organizations (continued) ,Psychoanalytic sensitivity & being a psychodynamic therapist,Assessment of the patient,Establishing a Framework for Therapy, Boundaries of Therapy, Main therapy processes & possible crises.
