Aim | The aim of this course is to instruct the students in morphological, physiological and genetic characteristics of pathogens, transmission routes, prevention (sterilization and disinfection) methods, and antimicrobial treatment; and also to make them to gain awareness and susceptibility about host-microorganism relationships, general characteristics of the immune system and collecting clinical samples, diagnosis and follow-up methods, and hospital acquired infections. |
