Working as the most important unit during the Post Production and Production stages, Editing is a two-layered experience. These two layers, which we can divide into editing operation and editing theory, require two different backgrounds, although they follow each other. Editing operation involves the use of digital, "non-linear" editing application, while editing theory involves conceptually determining the function of editing in moving image.
