AimTheory and practice in the basic techniques of developing a clear and expressive speaking voice. Breath control, proper phonation, full resonance and projection, and articulation will be covered as well as exercises for improving use of pitch, timbre, and vocal quality.
Course ContentThis course contains; Information about the processing of the lesson, the definition and scope of the speech, the elements of the verbal act.,To give information about the physical behavior of the speaker. Explanation of the components of body language. (Gesture, facial expressions, posture, eye contact ..) How is stress control achieved? Relaxation movements, How can concentration be achieved? ,Teaching correct breathing. The concept of sound. To explain the characteristics of a good speaking voice and the use of the voice.,Exercises of voice, breathing, body and articulation. Articulation, rhyme applications,To teach the differences between written language and spoken language and the features of pronunciation,Information about the phonetic alphabet and its usage,The use of some Turkish words according to emphasis and phonetic rules. Practical examples.,mid-term,What is diction? How does a correct, beautiful and effective conversation take place?
