Aim
Prepare developmental support programs that will be able to diagnose and evaluate the development of children and adolescents aged 0-18 years with normal development, special needs, acute and chronic illnesses at risk of development, adopts an eclectic approach, using technological and scientific methods and techniques, can take part in research and implementation projects, and has the aim of raising a child development specialist depending on ethical values.Qualification Awarded

Candidates who will apply to the graduate program must have completed 4 year undergraduate programs in the Child Development or Child Development and Education departments and be at least 55 points in the Equal Weight points type of Academic Personnel and Graduate Education Examination (ALES).Graduation Requirements
During the program, the students prepare a thesis in their own branches (60 ECTS) after completing their master's courses (at least 60 ECTS). Those who are successful in the thesis examination are awarded a "Science Specialist" diploma in the Child Development Graduate Programme.Recognition of Prior Learning

Assessment is made according to Istanbul Medipol University Postgraduate Education Measurement and Evaluation Directive. Written exam is done in the form of a narration of an article or subject. The valid grade in the master program is minimum 65. Learning Experiences
Learning situations aim to develop students' creative, critical, reflective thinking skills and higher level thinking skills such as logical and mathematical thinking skills.
