Founded in 2018 the Research Center for Healthcare Systems and Policies is a multidisciplinary organization whose mission is to conduct collaborative health services research in support of the practice, administrative and educational needs.Through excellence in research, we strive to provide the knowledge needed to improve quality of healthcare, maximize the health status of populations, and minimize the burden of disease. The Center seeks to conduct research relevant to health policy decisions at the state and national levels.
Our primary objectives are to:
• Develop and support interdisciplinary and collaborative health services research projects related to healthcare systems and policy;
• Engage in the synthesis, interpretation, and dissemination of research findings that assist healthcare policy formulation and improve health services and outcomes.
• Promote and support post-graduate education and training programs on health policy and health care services.
