Working Principles

Confidentiality: The Office of Students with Disability does not share the status of the student who declares to be disabled with other people and institutions without her permission, in a way that will reveal their identity.

 

Volunteering:The Office of Students with Disability provides opportunities for students to declare their disabilities, but does not force students to apply to the unit and get service.

 

Respect:The Office of Students with Disability provides services by considering the individual needs and competencies of individuals and respecting the individual differences of students with disabilities.

 

Equality of Academic Opportunity: In fulfilling the academic responsibilities of students with disabilities, The Office of Students with Disability carries out the necessary studies together with the relevant persons and units to provide learning and assessment methods adapted to the disability of the student.

 

Accessibility:The Office of Students with Disability works with the relevant units of the university to make the university life of students with disabilities physically, academically, and socially accessible.

 

Openness to feedback: The Office of Students with Disability is open to feedback; considers the feedback received from students, academic and administrative staff as an opportunity to provide better service.

 

Responsibility: As The Office of Students with Disability is responsible for providing services to create an environment that supports the development of students with disabilities, the student applying to the unit also has individual responsibilities in the operation of the process.
