The aim of this course is to familiarize students with Professional conduct and ethics in various areas of counseling. The ethical approach to areas such as clinical practice, human & animal research, and teaching, testing and writing will be covered.

This course contains; Introduction to Professional Ethics,What are morals & ethics,Introduction to ACA ethical guidelines ,Competence,Professional & ethical practise in multicultural & multiethnic society,Counselee rights & counselor responsibilities (informed consent & informed assent),Confidentiality,Multiple relationships & Professional boundaries,Human research & animal reearch,Pligiarism ,Issues in Theory & Practice,Ethical issues in group work,Counselor as a teacher,Ethics in counseling & psychoteraphy,Issues in supervision & consultation .
