COMPUTER ENGINEERING M.S. (NON-THESIS)

After the industrial revolution, significant changes and developments in many areas took place thanks to electronics, computer, and communication technologies. This change and development still continue. Today, there is no field that is not related to computers or where computers cannot have an impact. Many developed and developing countries are in a great race to develop and use computer and information technologies. Turkey's taking the place it deserves in the globalizing world depends on its competence in information and communication technologies, in short, information technologies. To become a leading country in the field of information technologies, it is necessary to increase expert human resources in this field and conduct international Research and Development (R&D).

As an institution, Istanbul Medipol University believes that R&D culture should be spread in every field and that postgraduate education is the key to increasing the scientific and engineering research productivity of students at the university.

The aim of Istanbul Medipol University Computer Engineering  Master's Program is to increase research studies in the field of Computer Engineering; The aim is to train experts, researchers and academicians in this field. Students trained in our graduate programs will be future researchers, leaders of the latest knowledge and innovative ideas, and guides and educators of the next generations. We believe that our graduates will make a significant contribution to the advancement of scientific, engineering, new technology research and application studies and the development of human resources both in our university, our country and in the global arena. Computer engineering graduate education includes a program that focuses on artificial intelligence, data science, intelligent systems, and robotics, which are currently very current.

The aim of the non-thesis master's program is to provide the student with in-depth knowledge in the field of computer engineering and to show how the existing knowledge can be applied in practice. The non-thesis master's program is generally designed for engineers working in industrial organizations. Students in this program are required to take 10 field courses, scientific research techniques and publication ethics courses, and prepare a graduation project under the supervision of an advisor.
