AimThe purpose of this course is to provide students with the relevant and detailed information about the main principles of financial management and to develop the ability of students in making financial decisions in a risky environment of business life. To achieve this purpose the students will be able to use various methods which are useful for making decisions about capital structure, working capital and investment projects.
Course ContentThis course contains; Finance Function - Responsibilities of the Finance Manager, The Objectives of the Management, Main Principles of Financial Management,Financial System and Financial Markets,Time Value of Money - Ordinary Interest Rate, Compound Interest Rate, Annuities,Financial Analysis and Methods for Analysis (It will be Studied in Financial Statements Lecture Intensively),Financial Leverage and Break-Even Analysis,Financial Planning and Controlling - Proforma Financial Statements, Cash Budget,Working Capital Management,Working Capital Management,Resources of Finance (It will be Studied in Financial Instruments Lecture Intensively),Optimum Capital Structure,Capital Budgeting and Investment Project Decisions,International Financial Management and Financial Failure,Dividend Payout Decisions,Review.
