AimIn order to reduce and minimize human error in aircraft accidents and crimes, this course aims to teach about flight safety issues by adhering to airline safety and culture and to develop skills related to flight safety in parallel. Through the "SHELL" model, which is the conceptual model of the human factor in aviation, students raise awareness of the place where they will be in the system as individuals and use all these skills in the relationship of human with aviation and company procedures, machine, environment and human. It is to create the level of consciousness that can perform.
Course ContentThis course contains; The purpose of CRM, introduction of the course, definition of CRM, its importance, principles and purpose,General history of CRM,Human performance and its limits,Example Accident and Incidents,The importance of CRM, cause and effect relationships in incidents,Human factor and accident investigation in aviation. SHELL model and its components,Physiological aspects of human error. Different complementary characteristics of individuals. Error management model,Definition of Fatigue and Situational awareness and its effects,The importance of creating an environment of collective domination for CRM. Being a team,Decision making, guiding style, analytical style, conceptual style meaning and importance in terms of CRM,Leadership and the importance of teamwork,Communication errors,Teamwork, personality interactions, synergy, motivation, understanding and dealing with personal differences, chain of mistakes, coping with anger, body language, overconfidence,Case Study.
