AimTo provide students with the knowledge and skills to fight at the scene of any accident or life-threatening situation in the cabin to prevent the situation from getting worse until the support of paramedics is provided.
Course ContentThis course contains; Basic concepts and patients in first aid - Evaluation of event location,Vital signs and basic life support.,Consciousness and shock.,Burns and poisoning.,Bleeding and injuries.,Foreign body in the eyes, ears and nose,Fractures, dislocations and sprains,Wraps and bandages,Patient handling techniques,In-flight hygiene, personal hygiene and management of medical waste.,Physiological effects of flight and let-lag.,Stomach and intestinal disorders, hyperventilation,Asthma, stress and heart attack,Birth and death in flight.

1.2.Recognizes the concepts of vital signs and basic life support.
1.3.Recognizes first aid in case of airway obstruction.
1.4.Understands basic health issues such as bleeding, injuries, consciousness disorders, serious diseases.
2.1.Understands the importance of vital signs and basic life support.
2.2.Understands how to eliminate airway obstruction in emergency situations.
2.3.Understands different types of injuries.
3.2.Can apply first aid practices in real life.
3.3.Can apply emergency transportation techniques.
4.1.Can explain the difference between first aid and emergency aid.
4.2.Can make patient, injured and crime scene evaluation.
4.3.Can apply first aid to fractures, dislocations and sprains.
5.1.Knows the physiological effects of flight and let-lag.
5.2.Knows the rules to be applied in case of birth and death in flight.
5.3.Understands the symptoms of hyperventilation.
1. Will be able to explain the definition and basic concepts of first aid.
2. Will be able to understand the historical development, application processes and functions of first aid.
3. Will be able to practice first aid.
3.1 Can apply first aid in situations that may be encountered in flight.
4. Will be able to evaluate and explain the basic concepts, techniques and rules in the field of first aid.
4.4 Analyzes the effects and results of first aid applications.
5. Will know flight hygiene, personal hygiene and medical waste management.
