The aim of this course is to mention the importance of microorganisms and microbiology,
to teach prokaryotic cell biology (metabolism and genetic), define nutrient and other
physical needs of microorganisms, modes of transmission, infection control,
host-microorganism interaction.

This course contains; Introduction to microbiology,Taxonomy of microorganism,Microbiota and pathogenicity of microorganisms,Bacterial structure and physiology,Bacterial genetics,Medically important bacteria and diseases,Fungi ,Parasites,Virus structure and genetics,Medically important viruses and diseases,Diagnostic methods in microbiology,Sterilization, disinfection and antisepsis,Antimicrobial agents,Aşılar.
