AimTo have the ability of questioning cardinal symptoms and performing the physical exaöination of cardiovascular system. Regarding these findings and some additional basic diagnostic tools students of this class can make differantial diagnosis of major cardiovascular system disorders. They can measure blood pressure and obtain and basically evaluate an ECG as well.
Course ContentThis course contains; Introduction to coronary artery disease,History taking and physical examination in cardiovascular system disorders,Introduction to heart rhythm disorders,Pathophysiology, classification and diagnosis of heart failure,Basic Electrocardiography knowledge,Introduction to hypertension,Syncope and hypotension,Introduction to heart valve diseases,Physical examination of cardiovascular system and blood pressure measurement,Basic diagnostic work-up and therapeutic tools in cardiovascular system disorders,Obtaining and evaluating an ECG,General approach to various clinical scenarios concerning common symptoms (chest pain, dyspnea, palpitations) of cardiovascular system,Acure rheumatic fever,Introduction to aortic diseases.
