AimThe purpose of the course is to discuss how gender configurates and sustains, what is the meaning of gender in different areas of our lives, also to evaluate gender discrimination and the consequences of gender roles from different aspects by focusing on gender-related theories and research.
Course ContentThis course contains; Introduction to Gender Psychology,Basic Concepts in Gender Psychology,Basic Theories of Gender Psychology,Gender Stereotypes and Gender Discrimination,Gender Similarities and Differences,Man-Woman Relationships, Marriage and Being Mother-Father,Masculinity,Gender and Education,Gender and Labor,Gender and Violence,Gender and Media,Gender and Social Policy,Gender Equality,Review of the Semester.
