AimThe aim of this course is to study the ways pioneer theorists in history of psychology have taken on the subject of human personality, to examine their perspectives on personality development, and in this sense examine the historical and motivational sources. It is also intended to make students gain a critical understanding on concepts of personality, theoretical views of human nature and personality theories.

3. (At the end of this course) The student will be able to establish links between personality, temperament, family, environment and culture; and to explain and discuss these links. 10, 13, 16, 21, 4, 9A
4. (At the end of this course) The student will have internalized the assumptions of pioneer theorists and be able to express, discuss and criticize them.10, 16, 4, 9A
5. (At the end of this course) The student will be able to define and interpret the specific characteristics of human personality in the light of personality theories.10, 13, 16, 37, 4, 6A
