AimThis course aims to make it clear how social exclusion emerged historically and what forms it took in daily life, discrimination and the ways in which discrimination occurs in daily life, through different social groups and case studies. Examining the conflicts that arise as a result of social exclusion and discrimination is among the main objectives of the course.
Course ContentThis course contains; Emergence and Development of Social Exclusion, Concept of Social Exclusion,Grounds and Causes of Social Exclusion,Forms of Social Exclusion,Social Inclusion as a Way to Combat Social Exclusion,Prejudice, Stereotyping and Discrimination,Types of Discrimination,Group Work on Case Studies,Discrimination from a Legal Perspective: Prohibition of Discrimination,Legitimization of Discrimination, Social Identity and Discrimination,Poverty and Social Exclusion in the Context of Discrimination,Discrimination and Social Exclusion Specific to Migrants,Conflict Concept and Conflict Areas,Social Identity and Intergroup Conflict,Conflict Management and General Evaluation.
