AimIt is aimed to provide students with information on the analysis of the concepts of welfare and social welfare, the development of the concept of social welfare in Turkey and in the world, the definition of social service and social service organizations, and the structural and functional aspects of the current system of social service in terms of social welfare in Turkey.

*Will be able to explain international documents related to social policy. *Will be able to explain the Council of Europe documents regarding social policy. *Will be able to explain the regulations regarding social policy in the founding and amending treaties of the EU. *Will be able to explain the basic EU directives regarding social policy. *Will be able to explain the ILO's core conventions. *Will be able to explain the social welfare regime. * Will be able to discuss the concept of social welfare regime, its historical development and the impact of globalization. *Will be able to interpret Esping-Andersen's triple welfare state concept. *will be able to discuss social welfare practices in Turkey.10, 16, 9A
