AimWithin the scope of this course; The role and skills of social work in work environments, the role of the social worker in the development of occupational health and safety, the use of social work skills in human resources management, job loss and social work, the role and function of the social worker in unions and the future of industrial social work will be discussed. At the end of this course, the student will have knowledge about the problems caused by the industrial revolution in working life in historical development and what industrial social work is.
Course ContentThis course contains; Introduction and information about the content of the course,Conceptual introduction: Social work and working life,The role and importance of work in human life,Globalization and its impact on working life,New Ways of Working,Lifelong learning,Intercultural Management,Disadvantaged Groups,Discrimination in working life,Individual and Professional Incompatibility,Work stress,Work Monotony,Burnout Syndrome,Mobbing, Generation Conflict, Retirement and Unemployment Psychology.
