Aim | The aim of this course is to enable families to have healthy pregnancy, to gain awareness in determining their birth preferences and to prepare them physically and mentally for delivery in order to have a comfortable birth experience. |
Course Content | This course contains; The physiological and anatomical changes during pregnancy.,Reproductive system anatomy-physiology,Formation of pregnancy, tests to be done in pregnancy,Nutrition in Pregnancy and Postpartum Period,Exercise in Pregnancy,Management of Labor,Physiological changes affecting the birth process (hormones, pain etc.),Breathing techniques and breathing techniques at birth,Interventions and effects that affect the delivery process: (episiotomy, epidural analgesia, vacuum, fundal pressure, etc.),Post-natal care: returning to childbirth mother and family integration process,Newborn Care and Risk Management,Postpartum Exercise,Planning and management of the birth preparation class organization,Evidence-based current approaches to the birth process. |
