| Course Content | This course contains; 1- Introduction to Music Theory.,2- The basic methods of Music Interval Calculation.,3- Knowledge of Music Rhythms.,4- The Tonality System of Music, Major and minor tone scales.,5- Subdivision of Rhythms,Rhythmic Structure and Meter. Strong and weak beat in Music Theory.,6- Singing and Analysing of Training Pieces from Solfege Books "Ettore Pozzoli,Ahmed Adnan Saygun Töresel, Fernand Fontaine (rhythmic reading).,7- The term and usage of Functional Cadence in Music Theory.,8- The most important points of Dictation Writing in Music.,9- Neighbour tone Modulation and Types of Modulation in Music.,10-The most important points for Singing&Playing of Syncope Rhythms.,11-Knowledge of Tempo&Expression Terms in Music.,12-Chord, and the usage of different chord positions in Musical Works.,13-Expanded cadential progression in Music.,14-The basic Turkish theoretical music terms that we can use in Turkish Music Theory.. |
