Aim | It is aimed to establish the connection between the two concepts by examining the content and historical development of the concept of human rights and the development and historical process of the concept of democracy and its content. |
Course Content | This course contains; Grounding Human Rights,Human Rights and Public Liberties,Purpose of Human Rights (and Public Liberties): Human Dignity,Historical Development of Human Rights,Internationalization of Human Rights,Classification of Rights and Freedoms,Regulation and Limitation of Rights and Freedoms,Rights and Freedoms in States of Emergency,Protection of Rights and Freedoms,Definition and Development of Democracy,The Birth of Liberal Democracy,Mandatory Conditions of Democracy,Government Systems in Democracies,Democracy and Freedom in Turkey from the Ottoman Empire to the Present. |
