Aim1. Understand the Basics of Verbal Communication: Grasp the fundamental principles of verbal communication, its components, and importance. 2. Master English Pronunciation: Identify and practice standard English sounds, stress patterns, and intonations to enhance clarity and reduce regional accents. 3. Improve Speech Clarity: Utilize voice modulation, pitch variation, and correct pacing to ensure speech is clear and effective. 4. Develop Effective Listening Skills: Demonstrate the ability to listen actively and provide constructive feedback to peers during speaking exercises. 5. Engage in Various Speaking Scenarios: Confidently participate in different speaking scenarios such as presentations, group discussions, interviews, and everyday conversations. 6. Employ Non-Verbal Communication Techniques: Recognize and utilize body language, facial expressions, and gestures to complement and enhance verbal communication. 7. Overcome Speech Anxiety: Implement strategies to manage and reduce anxiety during public speaking or while communicating in unfamiliar settings. 8. Evaluate and Reflect: Continuously self-assess and accept feedback to refine and improve oral communication techniques over time. 9. Adapt to Diverse Audiences: Understand the need to modify speech content, style, and tone depending on the audience's background, context, and familiarity with the subject.

This course contains introduction to oral communication skills, communicating in academic situations, seminars and discussions, presenting information from the text, exchanging opinions, sing a text to support your ideas, listening actively, exchanging information, referring to what others have said. Each subject includes discussions and presentations that relate to the following topics: being a successful student, learning online, changing roles in the family, a healthy lifestyle, and the influence of the media. 10, 11, 19, 6E, F
At the end of the course, students will be able to -analyze the listening and speaking files, -use English verbal communication skills in his / her own speech, -use more commonly used expressions to make oral communication more natural and fluent, -communicate in a more fluent and natural way, -communicate more interactively in English courses -speak English outside of the classroom when in contacts with people -and communicate more effectively in English in communication-based settings such as discussion, role play, individual and group presentations, and improvisation.10, 11, 19, 5, 6D, E, G
