AimTo convey the logic of using movie soundtracks to students in fields of media. In this context, by developing conceptual creativity and design through the role of music, the aim is to strengthen the potential to produce more creative productions in possible interdisciplinary studies with the awareness of the power of text and audio elements in storytelling. Developing a culture of "soundtrack" through viewings of existing works from the history of cinema.
Course ContentThis course contains; Introduction to Film Music,Pre-conceptual design and pre-production,Concept of role model and musical style ,Concept Design,Timing,Introduction to Music Editing,Composition Process,Practicing,Usage of harmony and examples of visual coherence ,Post-production and technical phases,An Overview of the History of Film Music and Analyses,Visual Examples from the Golden and Silver Eras and Film Music Analyses,Examples and Film Music Analyses from 1980 until now,Audio and Music Design from Genre Films.
