AimPost Prodüksiyon ve Prodüksiyon aşamaları esnasında en önemli birim olarak çalışan Kurgu, iki katmanlı bir deneyimdir. Kurgu operatörlüğü ve kurgu mantığı olarak ayırabileceğimiz bu iki katman, birbirini takip etseler de, iki farklı arka plan gerektirir. Kurgu operatörlüğü, dijital, ''linear olmayan'' kurgu programlarının kullanımını, kurgu mantığı ise kavramsal olarak hareketli görüntüde kurgunun fonksiyonun belirlenmesini içerir.
