1What is a film? What is a short film?Understand the basic definitions by researching the concepts of film and short film.
2What are the elements of film?Identify filmic elements (camera angles, sound, lighting, editing, etc.) and try to understand their importance
3How can the elements of a film be used? How are they presented to us?Find examples of how filmic elements are used and analyze how they create an effect.
4What is pre-production?Research the pre-production phase, learn about script writing and film planning.
5What is plot and story and how are they formed?Learn the concepts of story and plot, try to understand how they are used when creating a script.
6How is pre-production implented into production?Examine the process of moving from pre-production to production.
7What are the elements of production and what should we be focusing on?Examine the elements of the production (set design, costume design, make-up, casting) with examples and research the points to be considered.
8What is mise-en-scéne?Try to understand the concept of mise-en-scéne and its importance.
9What is cinematography?Research cinematography, learn the effect of camera use on film.
10Set design, costume design, make-up, blocking the actorsExamine how elements such as set design, costume design, make-up, actor movements are used in the movie with examples.
11What does the post-production consist of?Research the stages of post-production (editing, post-production) and try to understand their importance.
