AimThe primary objective of this course is to teach students fundamental theoretical frameworks in international relations and ensure a solid understanding of the core principles of these theories. By instructing students on the advantages and criticisms of different theoretical perspectives, the goal is to enhance their critical thinking skills. Additionally, the aim is to impart the ability to analyze international relations theories in a comparative manner, thereby increasing students' understanding and evaluation skills of various theoretical approaches. Throughout this process, the objective is to equip students with the ability to conduct independent research, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge at the doctoral level to their own research. Finally, an important goal of the course is to develop the capability to understand current international events and situations, and to analyze these events using different theoretical frameworks.

Ability to expand the boundaries of knowledge in the field through projects and reports or by interpreting existing studies.

Ability to develop and deepen current and advanced knowledge at the level of expertise with original thought and/or research. Ability to develop new ideas and methods that will bring innovation to the field of Political Science and International Relations.
