Aim

Train lawyers who detect and evaluate problems in the field of private law, make proposals to the resolution of dispute, have scientific research skills and expertise in specific areas.

Registration and Admission Requirements

In order to apply for a master's programme, candidates must have a bachelor's degree. ALES score may not be required for admission to non-thesis master's programmes. If ALES score is required, the base score is determined by the Senate, not less than 55 points. In the admission of students to non-thesis master's programmes without ALES score, 50% of the undergraduate graduation grade point average and 50% of the full grade obtained in the written scientific evaluation exam and / or interview evaluation constitute the general success grade. If ALES score is required, 50% of the ALES score, 20% of the undergraduate graduation grade point average and 30% of the result of the written scientific evaluation exam and / or interview are taken in the admission of students to non-thesis master's programmes. In case of a scientific written evaluation exam, candidates who do not get 60 points out of 100 are not taken into the interview evaluation and are considered unsuccessful.

Graduation Requirements

Students who have succesfully complete all of the courses, a thesis term project have a right to receive a diploma.

Recognition of Prior Learning

Students are accepted by lateral transfer according to the articles of Istanbul Medipol University Graduate Education and Training Regulations regarding the admission of students by lateral transfer.

Success in a course is determined by the course success grade. The course success grade is obtained by evaluating the success of the student in the midterm exams and assignments, practical studies, group studies and similar studies that replace the midterm exams and the general exam together.
