AimThe aim of this course is to provide an overview of theoretical perspectives and research on what stress and emotions are, what functions they serve, and what roles stress and emotions and emotion regulation play in many parts of our lives such as mental health, social relationships, and decision making.
Course ContentThis course contains; An Overview of Stress and Emotions,Stress and Physical Health,Theories of Stress,Coping with Stress,Impact of Stress on Psychological Health, Theories on Emotion,Anxiety, Fear, and Panic as Defensive Mechanisms,Functions of Positive Emotions,Emotion Regulation,Mindfulness and Emotional Awareness,Depression,Dysregulation of Emotion,Emotions Across Social Networks,Review.

Practice a wide range of stress management techniques and evaluate their effectiveness in dealing with their own personal challenges. 3. Learn to categorize coping strategies and assess their own coping styles. 4. Understand the role of relationships to the management of stress and health 5. Understand the major psychological theories that define emotions and the functions emotions serve in our lives. 6.
