Aim | The aim of this course is to provide an understanding of the characteristics of the peripheral and autonomic nervous system, the structures and functions of these systems, to gain the competence to distinguish the dysfunctions that may develop as a result of the dysfunctions of these neuroanatomic structures. |
Course Content | This course contains; Development of nervous system, nervous tissue, neuron, glia,Neurotransmitters, receptors, types of nerve fibers and message rates,External and internal structure of the medulla spinalis, descending and ascending pathways and their lesions,Cranial nerves,Spinal nerves, posterior branches of the spinal nerves,Anterior branches of the cervical spinal nerves,Anterior branches of the thoracic and lumbal spinal nerves,Anterior branches of the sacral and coccygeal spinal nerves,Sympathic system, Truncus sympathicus, parts of the sympathic system,Parasympathetic system, parts of the parasympathetic system,Plexuses of the autonomous system,Higher centers that control the autonomic nervous system. |
