Aim | This aim of this course is developed care skills that relevant to the needs of individuals and families on students through the light of contextual information about protection of mental health, development, and nursing approaches for improving it, as apropriate to philosophy of psychiatric nursing and basic principles. |
Course Content | This course contains; Basic concepts of mental health, epidemiology of mental health, primary issues in mental health services,The historical development of the mental health practices,Theoretical Approaches at Psychiatry and Psychiatric Nursing,Roles and standards of psychiatric nursing,Philosophy and Basic Principles of Psychiatric Nursing,Therapeutic communication, individual communication / interview, group dynamics,psychiatric nursing applications, special groups,Childhood and mental health problems,Older people and mental health problems,Problems related with individuals with chronic disease and their caregivers,Individual with medical problems and their problems,Problems with substance abuse,Community-Centered Psychiatric Nursing,Hospital Based Psychiatric Nursing, KLP Nursing. |
