This is a course for graduate students. Students are expected to understand the present radio access technologies (RATs) and be able to envision the technolgies that will enable beyond 5G networks.

This course contains; Introduction to Radio Access Technologies,Reliability and Waveform,OFDM and its Problems,Equalization - Part A,Equalization - Part B,Out-of-Band Radiation Issue and its Solution,CP and Adaptive Windowing,Flexible Multi-Numerology for 5G and Inter-Numerology Interference,CoMP/CRAN and its Ranging Issues,Sparse Channel Estimation and 3D MIMO Channel Models,URLLC and Grant-free Approaches,NOMA and its Variants,Orthogonal Time Frequency & Space (OTFS),Separability of Time and Frequency Overlapping Signals.
