The 2022-2023 Academic Year PLAT Exam will be held ONLINE on Microsoft Teams on 17.06.2023 and 21.06.2023. The first session of this two-stage exam will be held on 17.06.2023 and the second session will be held on 21.06.2023.

THE LIST OF STUDENTS WHO WILL TAKE THE PLAT EXAM WILL BE ANNOUNCED AFTER THE TRACK 4 TAT EXAM RESULTS.

First session (Listening, Reading, Grammar, Vocabulary): 17.06.2023

Second Session (Speaking): 21.06.2023

All students with a 4 Track average below 80 will take the Plat Exam. As per the decision taken, the absence limit for taking the PLAT exam has been removed, limited to the 2022-23 Academic Year. Students with a 4-track average of 80 and above will be exempted from the preparatory program without the need to take the PLAT exam.

Students whose 40% of the Plat exam result and 60% of the 4 Tracks average are below 70 and who cannot take the PLAT exam for any reason can take the PLAT MAKE UP exam without declaring any documents. For these students, the Plat Make up exam will be held ONLINE on 23.06.2023 in two sessions over Microsoft Teams. Both sessions of the exam will be held on the same day. For the PLAT MAKE UP speaking exam, special channels will be opened for each student in the form of exam time and student name under the Microsoft Teams teams created for the PLAT MAKE UP exam.

With 40% of the PLAT MAKE UP exam result and 60% of the 4 Track averages, students whose total score is 70 will be exempted from the Preparatory Program.

In the Plat and Plat Make up exam, students are responsible for all the subjects they learn during the 4 Tracks.

The audio file for the listening part of the exam will be played to the students in the exam meeting to be planned in Microsoft Teams that will created for the PLAT exam.

In the first stage of the exam, the main part will be shared with the students as a single link. In order to be able to access this link, students must log in to their MEDIPOL STUDENT e-mail addresses with the extension @std.medipol.edu.tr before the exam. Students must enter the exam with their own student accounts. If another Medipol e-mail is open on the device to be used in the exam, it is necessary to log out and only the e-mail address of the student who will take the exam should be open on the device. In case of any inconsistency between the e-mail address of the student who took the exam and the e-mail address he logs into the system, the student's exam will be deemed invalid and his grade will be recorded in the system as "1".

The speaking exam, which is the second session of the exam, will be held on 21.06.2023. For this exam, special channels will be opened for each student in the form of exam time-student name under the Microsoft Teams classes created for the PLAT exam.

If the students do not click the "Submit" button at the end of the exam when the exam closing time comes, they cannot submit the exam when it is closed and they will be considered as they have not taken the exam and their grade will be recorded as "G" in the system.

The exam time to be announced will be planned according to Turkey time zone.

It is extremely important that students enter their personal information, especially student numbers, correctly in the exam.

It is the student's responsibility to provide the necessary internet connection and device for this online exam. Language School is not responsible for problems that may arise from internet connection or personal devices.

Before the exam, students should be able to access their corporate e-mails with the extension @std.medipol.edu.tr, and if they have a technical problem, they should solve their problems at least 2 days before the exam by contacting [email protected].
