The aim of this program is to educate healthcare professionals that competently assist patients diagnosed with hearing insufficiency/ loss and balance problems, thanks to their knowledge and skill to use scientific methods of assistance. These professionals are competent in applying hearing and equilibrium tests, and in assisting patients prescribed to use hearing aid devices by otolaryngology/ ENT experts to use their devices.
The graduates of this program could be employed in the audiology/otology departments of hospitals and clinics as professional staff working under the supervision of ENT expert doctors. These graduates are also competent in applying the compulsory and voluntary hearing tests undertaken in any delivery clinic and school. When the increasing need for audiometric technicians in hearing aid devices and cochlear implant distribution businesses as well as in audiology diagnosing centers is taken in consideration, the high employment opportunities for these professionals become even more obvious.
