Aim | The aim of the Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology clerkship is to give 5th-year medical students an idea about how to diagnose most frequent community-acquired infections and treat them as outpatients. As primary care physicians they should be able to provide preventive measures for infectious diseases when required and transfer the patient to a tertiary care facility. Another aim is to train physicians who are able to manage emergency infectious cases. |
