Course ContentThis course contains; Elementary Lesions of the Skin,Papulosquamous Diseases,Fungal diseases,Acne vulgaris,Urticaria,Neutrophilic Dermatoses,Seborrheic dermatitis,Vitiligo,Bullous Diseases,Contact dermatitis,Hyperhidrosis,Atopic Dermatitis,Acne Rosacea,Skin Tumors,Behçet's Disease ,Pyoderma,Collagen Tissue Diseases,Sexually transmitted diseases,Viral diseases,Parasitic diseases.

Knowledge - Recalls knowledge of anatomy, physiology and histology related to skin and venereal diseases. Explain the global burden of skin and venereal diseases, risk factors and ways of prevention. Explain the physiopathology of symptoms, causes and relations with other systems of systemic diseases such as Behçet's disease and psoriasis. Explains and interprets common clinical, laboratory and pathological findings of Skin Diseases. Evaluates the differential diagnosis by using the basic symptoms and skin examination findings of common dermatological diseases and the necessary diagnostic tools. Refers psoriasis, Behçet's disease, diseases to a dermatologist. Explains advanced examination and referral criteria of allergic diseases (contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis), Behçet's disease, psoriasis. He/she makes a diagnosis by interpreting the results of the diagnostic tests, provides counseling and follow-up by explaining the risk factors, and explains the measures to reduce their frequency. Follows up the treatment of Behçet's disease at the primary care level. Explains the risk factors and measures to reduce the frequency of Venereal Diseases and provides consultancy services. He/she plans the diagnosis of parasitic diseases of the skin and rash diseases by choosing the appropriate diagnostic tests, and plans the core and treatment within the scope of rational drug use principles. Explains skin and soft tissue diseases, treatment methods of venereal diseases, properties of basic drugs and serious side effects. Explains the clinical features of life-threatening drug side effects and plans the emergency treatment. Refers to the appropriate unit appropriately for severe diseases such as psoriasis and Behçet's disease, and explains its principles. Follow up and plan treatment for contact dermatitis related to occupational health.
Skill - Evaluates the necessary laboratory parameters of skin diseases.
Attitude - Uses diagnostic methods in skin diseases from simple to complex steps. Applies the principles of rational drug use. While providing medical services, it should be able to observe human and patient rights and adopt the principles of protection of personal data. Comprehends the importance of multidisciplinary approach in diagnosis and follow-up of skin diseases. Explains the legal responsibilities in the diagnosis and follow-up of skin diseases.
