AimCriminal procedure law includes the rules on how to conduct investigation and prosecution and how to apply abstract criminal law rules to concrete cases when a suspicion of a criminal offence arises. The methods of determining whether the person has committed the alleged crime and the punishment if it is determined that the person has committed the crime, and the rights and obligations of the subjects of criminal procedure such as suspects, defendants and victims in this process constitute the subject of this branch of law. In the criminal procedure course, it is aimed to explain the Turkish criminal procedure law, and the European Convention on Human Rights and comparative law are also mentioned in the relevant subjects.
