Knowledge - Physiology information regarding wound healing; anatomy, physiology and histology information about the liver, bile ducts, colorectal system, stomach and duodenum, appendix, thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal gland; Remembers anatomy information about the diaphragm, hiatus, small intestines, colon, anorectal region, abdominal wall and breast. In cases of neck mass, abdominal mass, acute abdomen, ileus, jaundice and anemia, he creates a differential diagnosis list using anamnesis, physical examination and tests, using effective communication methods. Explains and interprets the common clinical, laboratory and pathological findings of diseases and abdominal wall defects related to the breast, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, anorectal region, gastrointestinal system and hepatopancreaticobiliary system. Explains general epidemiological characteristics and preventive medicine practices regarding breast cancer, colorectal cancer and hepatocellular cancer. It monitors hyperthyroidism, hypothyroidism and hypoparathyroidism, whose treatment is arranged, at the first step level. It explains the risk factors of obesity, goiter, gastroesophageal reflux and peptic ulcer diseases and measures to reduce their frequency, and provides consultancy services. He accepts that he should be an example to the society regarding obesity and the importance of fighting against obesity.
