Aim | The aim of this clerkship is; to do practice of the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes gained in preclinical and clinical periods, which are necessary for the protection and development of health, to make proper clinical decisions, to provide quality health services, to perform medical practices by considering ethical values. |
Course Content | This course contains; Introduction to Public Health,Students will be able to diagnose and treat patients (using appropriate technology) in primary health care facilities, and will be able to collabarate with secondary health institutions when necessary. students will be able to approach health problems with primary care. knowing the importance and methods of health protections, students will be able to evaluate and analyse cases. Students should complete field studies, minimum 10 days of active task in Family Health Centers and minimum 6 days of task in Public Health Centers.,Epidemiology,Research Methodology,Students will be able to prepare a epidemiyological research plan. They will also be able to evaluate and present the results.,Occupational and Environmental Health,Health Care Systems,Primary Health Care Services,Medical Law,Public Health and Ethics. |
