Aim | The aim of this clerkship is; to do practice the basic knowledge, skills and attitudes related to general surgery gained in preclinical and clinical periods. |
Course Content | This course contains; At the end of Term VI; In general surgery internship; be able to perform surgical examination in adult patients, evaluate the examination results, be able to diagnose acute abdomen, bleeding, shock, burns, trauma, be able to make differential diagnosis of surgical diseases, be able to direct treatment by knowing the principles of emergency surgical interventions, and also applied in surgical treatment for surgical diseases be able to explain general and regional anesthesia rules, be able to apply small surgical treatment, apply conditions to be included in surgeries under sterile conditions, direct the diagnosis and treatment of patients admitted to the emergency room.. |
