Aim | To comprehend the anatomical and physiological foundations of functional body perception, to recognize processes that are important in body awareness such as the somatosensory system, motor learning, proprioception, balance strategies and plasticity, to comprehend the factors that cause impaired body perception, to recognize chronic pain and its mechanism, evaluation and treatment for impaired body perception. To understand the methods and to understand the applications aimed at increasing the functional body perception applied to children, adolescents, adults and elderly individuals. |
